Treasure Chest volunteers run free monthly antenatal breastfeeding workshops where pregnant women and their partners can attend to gain a better insight of how to get off to a good start in breastfeeding your new baby.
Our workshops give you the opportunity to explore the reasons why breastfeeding is the perfect way to feed your baby, or babies! We will let you know what to expect covering everything from the first feed to breastfeeding in public and expressing. We will also signpost where to find help and support in the local area just in case you need it.
Finally, there is the opportunity to talk to a breastfeeding mum about her experiences and ask any questions you may have. Partners are welcome too so you both have the opportunity to ask questions and prepare before your baby arrives. Workshops take place on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:15 am and will last approximately 3 hours.
