This study day is aimed at peer supporters, midwives/health visitors and other health professionals who are interested in finding out more about breastfeeding and how to support families to meet their goals.

11.00 - 11.15  Break


11.15 - 12.00  Learning from the ABM conference: Supporting women who haven't been able to meet their infant feeding goals (Lynne Wright - peer supporter)


12.00 - 12.30  Learning from the ABM conference: Protecting good nutrition in infants and young children. Why marketing regulations matter (Lynne Wright - peer supporter)


12.30 - 1.15  Lunch


1.15 - 2.15  University BFI accreditation: an overview (Louise Armstrong)


2.15 - 2.30  Break


2.30 - 3.15  Learning from ABM conference: Supporting LGBTQ people/families with breast/chest feeding (Anu Priya)  


3.15 - 4.00  Your ideas for the future: What would you like to see happen?


You are welcome to attend for just the morning or afternoon, or stay for the full day (please bring a packed lunch). Drinks and biscuits will be provided. Babes-in-arms are welcome.


The day is free for active Treasure Chest volunteers and £10 for all others.
